StoryWalks are fun, educational activities that place pages from children’s storybooks along local trails.
StoryWalk was created as a way for people of all ages to combine physical activity in a local, natural area with a story combining a love of two things: storytelling and walking.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg Hubbard Library.

Enjoy We're Going on a Pumpkin Hunt by Mary Hogan Wilcox, illustrated by Lynn Munsinger, while exploring the businesses of downtown Newcastle!
A group of children sets out on a secret nighttime hunt for the biggest pumpkin they can find, encountering a scary jack-o’-lantern, overcoming their fears and other obstacles, until they return home to--pumpkin pie.
